Little Shepherd OSHC

Welcome to Little Shepherd Outside School Hours Care

We know and understand that families need peace of mind knowing their children are safe, cared for, and engaged after school and during the holidays. That’s why we are so proud of our Little Shepherd OSHC and Vacation Care program—a service designed exclusively for our Good Shepherd students.

With just 22 places available, Little Shepherd offers a small, family-like atmosphere where every child is known and cared for by name. Our program is run by dedicated Christian staff who create a safe, nurturing environment built on the values of love, care, and community.

Before School Care 

Our OSHC offers a calm and welcomeing start to the day, opening from 6.30am. Children can bring their own breakfast to enjoy in a relaxed and supervised environment before the school day begins. 

The program provides a variety engaging activities, including games, toys, drawing and creative play allowing children to ease into the morning at their own pace. 

Children are released to class by 8.20am, with Prep and Grade 1 students escorted to their classroom by our educators to ensure a safe and smooth transition into the school day. 

After School Care 

Operating daily from 3:00pm - 6:00pm, our after school care program provides children with a welcoming space to relax and unwind after a busy day of learning. 

Children enjoy a mix of indoor and outdoor activities, including creative arts and crafts, board games, construction play, reading and active outdoor games. Educators plan daily organised expereinces that encourage creativity, social connection and fun. 

A quiet place is also provided for those wishing to complete homework, with support from educators as needed. 

Vacation Care 

During the school holidays, Little Shepherd comes alive with our fun and engaging Vacation Care program, operating from 6:30am - 6:00pm. 

Our program offers a dynamic mix of exciting in-house activities, creative experiences, and themed days, along with special incursions and excursions that provide children with new opportunities to explore, learn, and connect with friends. 

Vacation Care is a wonderful opportunity for children to build friendships, try new expereinces and create last holiday memories in a safe and supportive environment.
